PNP files raps against the second quarantine skipper, dubbed "massage girl."

The Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has filed a criminal complaint against a certain Filipino who returned to the country without completing her obligatory five-day quarantine in a hotel. On Friday, members of the CIDG Regional Field Unit-National Capital Region filed a complaint with the Makati City Prosecutor's Office against Maria Bernalyn Muñoz, branded "massage girl." Muñoz came in the nation on December 22, 2021, from the United States. She took an airport cab to her condo apartment in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, instead of taking the appointed shuttle trip to her quarantine facility in Seda Residences in Makati City. From December 22, 2021, until January 4, 2022, Muñoz lived at her condo apartment. Muñoz, on the other hand, did not quarantine herself, according to the CIDG. She left her unit on Dec. 29, 2021, and got a massage, which she documented on social media. She went out on a number of times, including New Year's Eve. The criminal case against Muñoz was filed just days after the CIDG charged Gwyneth Anne Chua and eight others with violating the five-day quarantine requirement.
