PLDT’s global expansion reaches the Gulf region

PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone company) also known as the largest fully integrated telco company in the country, is expanding its services for overseas Filipinos in the Gulf region. Through its collaboration with Sandbox Middle East, the largest Filipino-owned distributor of goods made from the Philippines. PLDT Global Corp. aims to provide convenience and accessibility to mobile and digital services and products for Filipinos in the area. Services to be provided includes the availability of Smart and TNT (Talk and Text) for purchase, as well as paying bills, and electronic gifts through Sandbox Middle East’s sub-distributors and retail outlets. “This is another step towards our goal of bringing services available locally to our Filipino workers abroad as we continue to help empower and uplift our kababayans,” CEO Albert Villa-Real of PLDT Global said. As per SandBox ME’s CEO Lito German, the collaboration is a huge benefit for Sandbox ME to further spread and establish the company around the ideal Philippine brands and partners in the region. “It likewise extends our product offering beyond food and grocery items.
